Walk Sliding is a movement glitch that briefly allows the player to slide forward, executing a buffered jump at the end of the slide. This slide moves uphill faster than normal running, although the effect is very short lived.

Instructions

  1. Enable Walk Mode (default Tab). Press Jump while running forward.
  2. If timed correctly, your character will slide forward and then automatically jump at the end of the slide.

Additional Notes

  • This slide ignores slope physics, allowing for moving uphill at a faster speed very briefly.
  • There are no known uses for this movement tech yet.

Mechanics

CatPiss.png This glitch requires further research to fully understand its mechanics. Some information in this section is currently speculation.

It appears that the earlier in the walk animation cycle you jump, the farther the slide goes before executing the jump.

Related Glitches

  • There is an animation glitch variation called Moonwalking that doesn't require turning on Walk Mode.
