Our wiki is organized into a series of custom namespaces to separate articles by game and other miscellaneous info. The primary purpose of this is to allow each game to have identical article names to each other while still being clearly organized, such as a Glitches/Tech article, an NPC article with the same name across multiple games, etc. These custom namespaces allow users to search articles by specific game, and for editors to more easily keep wiki content organized.
For an example of a namespace, if we have an overview for the 100% requirements for multiple games, but we want to create/link to the article specifically for Oblivion, we format like this:
[[Oblivion:Overview|Overview]]
Additionally, we have aliases which allow for a shorthand way to create article links quickly. For an example of an alias, typing this will create/link to the same overview article as the above example:
[[OB:Overview|Overview]]
Note that DLC is not considered a separate category for any of the games. Any articles about DLC should be under the namespace of the game that DLC is for.
Here is a list of all the custom namespaces we currently use, and their associated aliases. Keep in mind that each namespace also has an equivalent talk page namespace formatted as Namespace talk
or Alias talk
:
Namespace | Alias | Description |
---|---|---|
PRCLive | PRC | For info and lore about the PRCLive community itself, rather than about relevant 100% speedrun info for one of the games. |
Anthology | AN | For info about the 100% Anthology challenge specifically, rather than about any one particular game. |
Arena | AR | Each of these namespaces is for organizing speedrun/gameplay articles by their specific game. |
Daggerfall | DF | |
Battlespire | BS | |
Redguard | RG | |
Morrowind | MW | |
Oblivion | OB | |
Skyrim | SK |
