Moonwalking is a movement glitch that briefly allows the player to slide forward with the backwards walking animation, executing a buffered jump at the end of the slide. This slide moves uphill faster than normal running, although the effect is very short lived.
Instructions
- Tap
Backwards
and then immediately pressForward
+Jump
. - If timed correctly, your character will slide forward while still performing the backwards walking animation, then automatically jump at the end of the slide.
Additional Notes
- This slide ignores slope physics, allowing for moving uphill at a faster speed very briefly.
- There are no known uses for this movement tech yet. It is a way to Walk Slide without having to turn on Walk Mode, which could potentially be useful at some point.
