Yarn is an item that is needed for the Sheogorath quest.

The current best source is considered to the Yarn in the Bloated Float Inn Lower Deck, just below the player's view upon entering the cell.
In Previous Routes
In previous versions of the route it was acquired by randomly searching crates in the Imperial City Market District. This was very RNG heavy, with a small change that Yarn could simply not appear at all, although this was never encountered in a run. The term YarNG is used to describe the process of rolling crate checks for Yarn.
