Player Superposition is an extremely complex glitch where the player can desync their first and third person player location, with the desynced version having the ability to interact with things before reverting back to the normal player location. Toggling the camera views shows the perspective of each version.
Instructions
- Acquire a sigil stone and open your inventory screen so that the sigil stone is visible, then close the inventory.
- Activate the Menu Float glitch by fast traveling and pressing F2 just before the loading screen appears. This will float your inventory above the gameplay with the sigil stone visible.
- Optionally start moving or standing still near a door.
- Pull up the wait timer and mash the up or down arrow keys. If timed right, an item in your floating inventory should highlight.
- Use the arrow keys to freely navigate to the sigil stone and activate it. Close the popup that appears.
- The player's first and third person are now desynced from each other. Change from first to third person to see the different versions of your character.
- If you were not moving, you are now stuck and these characters will be in the same place. If you were standing by a door, entering it will desync one of the characters to be in a Saddled location based on the normal player's coordinates in the previous cell.
- If you were moving, only the original player will be stuck, and the desynced player will be running around constantly.
- At this point, your desynced character can interact with objects including doors. Opening your inventory screen normally will end the glitch, resulting in the player being fixed back at the normal player location.
