Void Warping is when the player hits an invisible plane out of bounds (known as a "coc plane"), resulting in the player being teleported back in bounds. Void Warping itself is not considered a glitch, but it is only able to be performed by getting out of bounds via glitches.

Instructions

  1. Get out of bounds using any desired clipping method, such as Save Clipping.
  2. Fall below the actual in bounds area. Out of bounds areas usually do not have anything preventing you from falling below the actual constructed area of the map.
  3. As you are falling, look up and center yourself below where you want to be teleported to.
  4. After falling far enough, you will hit a coc plane and be teleported to the nearest in-bounds area of the current cell, which is usually directly above where you are currently.

Additional Notes

  • Where you get warped to exactly can vary based on several factors, and in some cases you can actually avoid hitting any of the coc planes in a cell, resulting in getting stuck at the bottom of the cell. In some cases you can still move, albeit very slowly.

Mechanics

CatPiss.png This glitch requires further research to fully understand its mechanics. Some information in this section is currently speculation.

This is not actually a true glitch since coc planes appear to be intended mechanics for handling cases where players fall out of bounds. It is not clear exactly how the coc plane determines where to spawn the player back in, although in general it seems to check the nearest in-bounds location above the player and teleport them there.
