Quest stages are indicated in parentheses at the start of each step when they are updated. Keep in mind that these optimized steps are within the context of the 100% speedrun route, meaning that certain items and setups are sometimes assumed to have already been performed prior to the start of the quest.

1. During Infiltration, enter the basement on the first floor of the Blackwood Company Hall by using Perma Key.
2. Take the Loose Pipes on and near the back table, and activate each Sap Pump to place them.
3. Upon completion of Infiltration, talk to Modryn Oreyn.
   • Dialogue: Duties.
   • Dialogue: Hist Tree. (10)
4. Wait for the quest to automatically update, then talk to Modryn Oreyn again. (40)
   • Dialogue: Hist Tree. (50)
5. Fast travel to Quest Marker to talk to Vilena Donton.
   • Dialogue: Blackwood Company.
   • Dialogue: I worked with Modryn Oreyn.
   • Dialogue: Advancement. (90)
   • Dialogue: Duties. (95)
6. Follow Quest Marker to talk to Modryn Oreyn.
   • Dialogue: Advancement.
   • Advance predetermined dialogue. (✔ 100)

Bugs

Currently there are no known bugs associated with this quest that affect the 100% route.

Route Logic Considerations

• Make sure you have Journal-Filled Expelled from the Fighters Guild before completing this quest, otherwise you will be unable to start/advance it afterwards.
• There is a Nirnroot in Jeetum-Ze’s room on the second floor.
