The Stolen Flag glitch is where a non-stolen item can be flagged as stolen by placing it into a stolen container in a certain way.

Instructions

  1. Open a container that has a stolen icon.
  2. Without closing the inventory screen, place a non-stolen item in the cupboard, take it out, and put it back in.
  3. Close the container.
  4. Open the container and take the item out again. It is now marked as stolen.

Additional Notes

  • This glitch is useful for Independent Thievery since a high value quest reward can be turned into a stolen item to fence the entire amount of gold needed at once.
