Paradise Seizure Screen is a glitch that results in a genuinely seizure-inducing effect where half of the screen is completely white (aside from the UI), with the white half rotating depending on mouse movement.

Instructions

  1. Be at the final step before entering the portal during the Paradise quest.
  2. Have another save file of a character sitting in a chair that is not in the same room as the portal. The chairs in one of the side rooms of Cloud Ruler Temple work.
  3. Attempt to Saddle the chair save into the portal. The game will softlock, being stuck on a loading screen with a bar that never fills.
  4. Reopen the game, and load the Autosave from the main menu.
  5. The graphical glitch will now occur.

Additional Notes

  • This glitch does not seem to continue to work if you load saves that previously had the effect present on them.

Mechanics

CatPiss.png This glitch requires further research to fully understand its mechanics. Some information in this section is currently speculation.

Currently it is unknown exactly what causes this, although it may have something to do with the Paradise portal script interfering with the usual door scripts that run when Saddling. The white half of the screen seems to be based on the direction of mouse movement.
