Current Best Route

Quest stages are indicated in parentheses at the end of each step when they are updated. Keep in mind that these optimized steps are within the context of the 100% speedrun route, meaning that certain items and setups are sometimes assumed to have already been performed prior to the start of the quest.

  1. Reach level 5 and acqurire Cheap Wine from the Bravil Mages Guild.
  2. Fast travel to Namira’s Shrine, ESE of Bruma. Wait 1 hour.
  3. Dupe and drink 4 Cheap Wine in your inventory potions tab, then close and reopen your inventory and drink 4 more.
  4. Activate the shrine and wait for the cutscene to end. (30)
  5. Fast travel to the Quest Marker and make a save outside of Anga. This will be called Temp_Save later.
  6. Equip the Namira’s Shroud spell and follow each Quest Marker to cast it on the green robed NPCs. It is important that you do not kill anyone yourself during this quest.
  7. Once you are informed they are all dead, quicksave, load the Temp_Save, then Load Warp the quicksave through the door. (40)
  8. Fast travel to the Quest Marker to activate the shrine again. (✔ 100)

Bugs

Currently there are no known bugs associated with this quest that affect the 100% route.

Route Logic Considerations

  • If you kill any Priests of Arkay yourself, or kill any of the Forgotten Ones, you will not receive the Daedric Artifact and cannot get 100% completion.
  • An efficient way to lower your Personality is to dupe and drink Cheap Wine, which can be found in the Bravil Mages Guild during the Bravil Recommendation prior to doing this quest. Lowering your Personality to 20 or below with a spell is not a very effective option since it requires the use of a very convoluted glitch. The amount of Cheap Wine you need to drink will vary depending on your Personality, with higher Personality most likely requiring the use of Potion Stacking mechanics.
  • Since a specific player level is required to start this quest, it is best done after the first instance of Power Leveling in the route logic.
  • Like most Daedric Shrine quests, there are unskippable cutscenes that we need to find a way to avoid.

10 I have learned from the followers of Namira, that they will only summon the Daedra for someone repulsive. If I am to get their help, I will need to make my self less attractive to others. [You must be level 5 to begin this quest.]
20 The followers of Namira have decided that I am repulsive enough to summon the Daedra. I may now approach the statue.
30 When summoned, Namira spoke to me about the Forgotten, a group of fanatical worshippers that lives in the darkness of Anga. Some priests of Arkay are planning to bring light to Anga and "save" the Forgotten Ones. I am to use the spell that Namira has given me on the priests, and let the Forgotten Ones finish them off.
40 All of the priests of Arkay are dead. I should return to the shrine.
100 Namira appreciated my efforts. I have been rewarded with the Ring of Namira.
105 I have killed one of the priests of Arkay, though I was to allow Namira's Forgotten to do it. I have failed in the task set out by Namira.
110 I have killed one of Namira's Forgotten Ones. I have failed my quest for the Daedric Prince.
