Current Best Route

Quest stages are indicated in parentheses at the end of each step when they are updated. Keep in mind that these optimized steps are within the context of the 100% speedrun route, meaning that certain items and setups are sometimes assumed to have already been performed prior to the start of the quest.

  1. In Northern Goods and Trade in Chorrol, boost your Mercantile to 70+ (with Perma Enchants and Class Reset in the current route logic) and talk to Seed-Neeus.
    Training (10)
  2. Travel to Divine Elegance in the Market District and talk to Palonirya:
    Training (✔ 100)

Bugs

Currently there are no known bugs associated with this quest that affect the 100% route.

Route Logic Considerations

  • The Dorian Glitch is the fastest way to acquire the 10,000 gold needed, meaning this quest should be completed after the Gold Farming section of route logic.
  • It is actually faster to not kill Palonirya since we have to talk to her anyway to invest in her and can simply turn in the quest as intended at the same time.
  • Like all the Master Training quests, the actual Master Trainer needs to be alive prior to starting the quest in order to be able to complete it.
  • Seed-Neeus in Northern Goods and Trade in Chorrol, and Margarte in Leyawiin can both start this quest. Both NPCs are talked to directly (A Shadow Over Hackdirt for Seed-Neeus and Drunk and Disorderly for Margarte) making the ideal NPC vary depending on route logic.
