Current Best Route

Quest stages are indicated in parentheses at the end of each step when they are updated. Keep in mind that these optimized steps are within the context of the 100% speedrun route, meaning that certain items and setups are sometimes assumed to have already been performed prior to the start of the quest.

  1. Talk to NPC:
    • ↳ speech option that sets stage (10)
  2. Perform action. (✔ 100)

Bugs

  • This quest requires all the other Daedric Shrine quests to be completed first. Mephala has a bug that can potentially conflict with this.

Route Logic Considerations

  • This quest requires all the other Daedric Shrine quests to be completed first.
  • The Oghma Infinium quest reward needs to be kept for when we Class Reset during the Skill Grind.
  • The NPCs that are used for acquiring all of the souls will vary depending on route logic, but in general we want to target NPCs we had to kill anyway, primarily from the Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild Blood Prices, and Master Training quests, although some side quests like Caught in the Hunt are also utilized. Ideally we want to have Hermaeus Mora started early enough into these questlines that we have at least one of each race left so that we can acquire all of the souls during other quests.
  • Since a specific player level is required to start this quest, it is best done after the first instance of Power Leveling in the route logic.
  • Like most Daedric Shrine quests, there are unskippable cutscenes that we need to find a way to avoid.

TODO: Add a table of all the NPCs that are killed anyway for future routing efficiency.
